Lawn care and handyman service which I run with my partner.

Pretty standard retail position with the addition of heat pressing uniforms and frequent mobile pop ups.

I would meet with individuals who were selling to Carvana - not trading - and their car wasn't going on the website, but would be auctioned off to dealers. I would have to ensure that all paperwork was filled out correctly, determine if the vehicle could be driven back to the office, arrange a tow if it wasn't and drive it back if it was. From there we would inspect them through the Next Inspect app, which put them on the auction website.

Starting in January 2022 I became one of two dairy clerks and we worked together to keep our shelves full, organize the cooler, adjust orders, and correct invoices to reflect damages within the department.

Worked as Men's & Kid's Coordinator for the majority of this time, which meant I had control over those departments and took responsibility for their presentation. At this chain this position also included assisting with unloading trucks and sorting merchandise to be placed on the floor. Towards the end of my time there I worked as Admin Coordinator which included being the primary person for cash office duties, scheduling, and conducting phone interviews.

My assigned department was fashion jewelry and watches, but I would also frequently assist in accessories, handbags, and hosiery. In addition to selling to customers, I developed relationships and built rapport at every opportunity. I loved helping men who felt uncomfortable buying jewelry find the right gifts for their loved ones, as well as helping people find the right jewelery to complete their outfit. Often I would assist brides and their mothers, not only with their own jewelry for the big day, but also with finding gifts for bridesmaids/family members/future in-laws. Within the department, I worked to create a more organized repair process, as well as more organized backstock. I also endeavored to keep up with items that needed to be sent back to fulfillment centers. On a daily basis, throughout shifts as I had time, I worked hard to maintain the appearance of the department through cleaning and restocking displays.

As customer service specialist for Joint Venture Jewelry & Peachy Keen, I work with customers to understand their needs, whether in clothing, jewelry, or gifts, and help them make the best possible purchase. I take part in inventory management and website updates. I create daily Facebook posts and write blogs as well as create Instagram posts for both businesses. We have events throughout the year ranging from photo shoots, to on site parties, to fashion shows, all of which I take part in, including planning, creating visual themes, and working. I also assist in the management, training, and direction of interns, while assigning and helping them achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals. When it comes to troubleshooting either POS system we use - Lightspeed and The EDGE - I am the generally the first point of contact with the businesses, which has helped me to master the systems as much as possible.

As a part-time associate I worked with customers to understand their needs and help them make the right purchases, helped with inventory management, handled daily Facebook posts, wrote blog posts, assisted with managing products on the website, assisted with major events (parties, fashion shows, photo shoots), and worked with interns to achieve daily and monthly goals.

As an intern at a family-owned boutique, duties ranged from typical retail upkeep (unpacking boxes, steaming clothes, straightening floor displays, greeting and assisting customers) to social media marketing (blogging, Twitter and Facebook posts for a business), visual merchandising, and assistance with major events.
