Managed a team of product owners and directed engineers that defined the ESPN+ subscription service from concept to production. ESPN+ exceeded two million users in 9 months and is currently growing month over month based on the foundation my team delivered. In addition to ESPN+, my team maintained all OTT and Watch ESPN experiences across ESPN ecosystem. (Web, ESPN App, Apple TV, Roku, etc) This is accomplished by defining requirements for internal engineering, 3rd party vendors, and affiliate partners to bring features to market on time, while focusing and improving on agile product methodologies across discipline. Responsible for iOS and Android development and quality assurance teams for Nike+ Running and other applications. My team maintained the current application and re-wrote both applications (Launched 8/2016) from the ground up during my tenure at Nike while laying the foundation for test automation in expresso and iOS UI automator. This involved moving the iOS code base from object C to the latest version of swift and the Android architecture to an MVP model while integrating with a brand new AWS based back end environment for data persistence and on demand metrics. In October 2016, my team developed and delivered the Nike+ Apple Watch application and infrustructure through partnering with Apple on every aspect of the development project.

Amazon Go - 2013-2015One of the original members on the Amazon Go team that was responsible for the initial explorations into silicon hardware selection, refrigeration, tracking systems, machine learning, point cloud calculations, and facilities management + procurement. Being a Senior hardware and software systems technical program manager I lead mechanical and electrical teams on initial prototypes to proof of concept up until the final QA and procurement/manufacturing cycle of the project. One area that was new to me was the interaction with Companies to build store fixtures and refrigerators that must comply with the government regulations around food safety and retail. The largest accomplishment was to work with facilities, construction crews, and engineering teams to uphold the quality needed to deliver this advancement in retail technology through initial prototypes to full scale store prototypes. Currently managing end to end phone designs on the Windows Phone LGE team from concept development to device commercialization through interaction and management of internal product teams. Managed a hardware team (SW, HW, Procurement, Silicon Vendor)for Windows Mobile that was chartered to create form factor cell phone reference designs, establishing the Windows Mobile Operating System Hardware Requirements, and improving overall device health via new testing methodologies for power and performance. This included working cross organization with Windows Mobile Software Architects, Microsoft Research, and Executive Management for acceptance of requirements and customer messaging. Worked directly with handset chipset manufacturers on silicon features, performance, and health when being combined with Windows Mobile (NVIDIA, QCOM, TI, Infineon, EMP).Other areas included optimizing Microsoft software stacks by working with Network carriers (ATT, TMobile, Cingular,and Verizon) on network setup and optimizations. This included setting up testing scenarios for battery life and performance that modeled an everyday users tendencies used to optimize device health for battery life and performance.

Managed the escalation of issues for all worldwide teams supporting Intel's customer base (Dell, Motorola, HTC, etc...) including management of Intel's largest customer HTC since joining the group in August 2004. This time included a 9 month assignment onsite in Taiwan. Responsibilities included securing new design wins, managing and supporting existing designs, and providing technical, pricing, and marketing support for all Intel products to the product team and executive management on a weekly and monthly basis. (Flash, Communication processors, and Application processors).Managed the Intel Corporation Server Processor Revenue products from a sustaining aspect. Responsibilities included interaction with field, marketing, and customers on a weekly basis for the handling of issues related to their products. Issue escalation and interaction to upper management of customers, and internal to Intel was a vital part of the position in order to communicate and resolve issues. Other duties included documentation control, issue debug and resolution, best known method development, cross-organization management, product launch collateral, benchmarking, and internal schedule and product development.Directed work phases, including specification development and technology adoption. Worked with the USB-IF on industry enabling, tradeshow marketing events, organized and managed developer conferences, and the logo certification process. Developed an industry specification test scheme that focused on peripheral electrical and compatibility specification compliance. Provided reports and scheduled modifications based on progress updates and completion forecasts. Root caused and debugged USB platform issues on Intel based platforms and customer devices.
