Leading the Marketing Communications and more recently the Customer communications team, I am responsible for delivering full end to end external and internal marketing communications across Zurich’s Life and General Insurance businesses incorporating Personal and Commercial Lines, Direct and Partnerships and Zurich Municipal. Key Responsibilities:- I am responsible for leading, coaching and motivating a large high performing team of 22 marketing professionals, managing a multimillion pound marketing budget.- Translating commercial objectives into marketing campaigns that deliver commercial value to the business.- Overall responsibility for the marketing communications strategy.- Responsible for Crisis management communications - COVID-19 and FCA Test Case - Overall responsibility for digital and content strategy for two content platforms for brokers and end customers.- Continual analysis, recommendations and enhancement of marketing campaigns and content. Key Achievements:- I identified that all tenders across the business were inconsistent and developed an online self-service tool for sales and underwriters to enable them to pitch for tenders under £0.5m. Built on a test and learn approach, building and reviewing with a pilot group prior to launch. To date the tool has supported business wins of £3m.Content - launched two content marketing platforms, providing daily content updates to 20,000 brokers and customers. I created and delivered an integrated content strategy for UKGI – developing key themes for execution across each business area, devised KPIs and reporting back to each MFU. Both content platforms in 2016 received 100% more unique users compared to the prior year. I am currently linking content to Sales Force to determine the value of content within the sales process.
