Through investor and governmental support, MedifVu is in the midst of a new phase; to be prepared, much work is being dedicated to developing the 'iHealthAssist' software beyond minimum-viable-product (MVP). The 'iHealthAssist' software is designed to improve the information available to doctors and consumers about prescription medication. It soon became evident that aspects of the MVP needed to be changed, as well as integrating new features. This entailed overhauling a large portion of the current framework and redesigning it for functionality, efficiency, redundancy, and especially security. This redesign includes new hardware and software with a central focus on integration to simplify future upgradability. The large nature of this project has led to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to conceptualize the project from the ground up. AI has played a pivotal role in technical decisions, as well as in running security audits to ensure quality. The decision to use AI is due to the importance of the data involved in 'iHealthAssist'; specifically Electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI). ePHI data is subject to HIPAA regulations, and therefore the framework that stores ePHI files must meet strict guidelines. Though navigable, AI has allowed for more seamless integration between the legal aspects and the technical/engineering aspects of this project. Particularly, reading the legal guidelines of HIPAA laws and translating them into technical configurations. This advice allowed for the development of various plugins that are integrated with one another and the server itself. These plugins, as well as other security measures, protect the whole framework as well as guarantee HIPAA-compliant security measures where they are needed.The desired outcome of this project is to create a more finished product and allow for easier expansion in the future and before initial use; this was done in order to avoid overhauling larger features while in operation.

Played a pivotal role in the development of digital media for use in investment pitches and public interfaces. Largely focused on the creation of a functioning website and an operating model of the company software, ‘iHealthAssist’.Worked closely with executives and others, as well as external groups, to organize projects and tailor the product to the best consumer base available. Both independently and in tandem with a team, researched and developed campaigns and strategies in order to peak investor interest; in addition to consumer interest in the near future.Was able to see the company expand as investors began to back the business; responsibilities grew as did the company, but welcomed them with open, eager arms.Edit as of March, 2023 - Due to investor interest and governmental interest, a trial run for ‘iHealthAssist’ has been approved. These new challenges brought new responsibilities and allowed for the growth of skills that were before unknown. It is exciting and I look forward to seeing where I can help grow this company.

Utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to identify and create aspects of ‘MedifVu’ that pertain to a pre-developed expansion. This includes designing and creating encrypted data storages that meet HIPAA security standards for ePHI medical information. Beyond this, AI is assisting in the creation of a more streamlined and standalone ‘iHealthAssist’ software!

There is an unseen scale that balances an author’s creativity and the desires of the publishing industry. There’s countless stories of authors who bend their work or their vision to abide to the industry; of course there are also those who refuse to ‘taint’ their work just to sign the deal. (A beloved example being Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead) Editors play a pivotal role in abiding to industry standards while also maintaining the vision of the author. Previous opportunities opened the door to connections and a mindset equipped to navigate the literary landscape. Though initially solely an editor, I have also began the process of authoring my own novel. This coming-of-age novel follows our protagonist as they navigate their entrance to college. The focus is largely on mental health and the value of introspection; particularly detaching one’s identity imposed by society or those around us, and instead directing yourself according to your own motivations.

Worked in a fast-paced service environment that required pragmatic decisions and a, rightfully deserved, fixation on perfection. A large portion to this also being customer service. Was tasked with food preparation, expediting, and the act of serving the food itself as well. It was a necessity to have a sense a professionalism due to an open kitchen plan that allowed patrons to see their food being prepped. With customer retention being the cause for a good portion of the sales, it was a great help to strengthen any gregarious attributes; those who failed to learn to be personable often saw their role dwindle throughout their employment. During the one and a half years, both stores never fell below 4.5 stars.In addition to food prep, it was assumed to be able to operate a register, if the occasion called, and other tasks which were foreign at first. It was clear that to succeed one needed to be very teachable; or at the very least, open to criticism and change. The ever-changing situation in a kitchen requires a keen ability to adapt and rise to the occasion. It also became a duty to train, oftentimes younger, employees and hopefully equip them for the pace of the work environment; other workers of equal or better experience were not asked to train. It was as a result of adaptable and straight forward teaching techniques.Beyond any food or other personnel assignments, there are maintenance demands, like repairing griddles and deli meat slicers, as well as the store infrastructure, like phone and internet networks. While 'Church Street Bagels and Deli' in Denville, NJ is a new building, 'Morristown Bagel and Deli' required various appliances to be replaced or repaired due to age; a task which was undertaken solely. As for the data network of the shop, it had to be replaced in its entirety. The task also entailed replacing decades of old cables and a general improvement in quality; both quality of function and visual quality.

Worked with a small, hard-working team in a cooperative setting. Was required to react to changing environments and situations including working with customers. As an apprentice, it was expected that each day brought with it a new lesson to apply, whether it was on work ethic, to be more efficient, or even more general, morals to carry through life.
