Specializing in Ceramics, I am a potter and mixed media sculptor. I also work on commissioned pieces as well as artwork repair.

I did not think years ago that I would be looking for a job as a designer but I love the process of UI/UX! I am naturally curious and thirst for knowledge. Although I may be new to this field, teaching for so many years has taught me time management, risk-taking, goal-setting, the value of feedback, and collaborating with a variety of personalities. I communicated my thoughts and questions in a professional way. and because I am used to working remotely, I have used all platforms through Google, Zoom, and Discord.

I was an Art Educator for Howard W. Blake Magnet School of the arts. I Built lesson plans and projects for ceramics and sculpture, Art in World cultures, Arts collaboration honors, and AP studio 3d. I Curated and displayed exhibitions in Gallery 501 and was in charge of communication for the visual arts department. Within the district, I was invited multiple times to present to HCPS teachers and have been part of the curriculum writing and curriculum testing committee. I was certified to mentor interns and have also presented at the National art education Association conference. I have directed students as they build their own portfolios and were accepted to some of the top art schools in the country. My students consistently scored 4's and 5's on their AP studio 3d portfolio and contributed to the enormous amount of awards and recognition of student work that was created in my classroom.
