Executive Assistant
CurrentI currently support a VP & Sr. Director of our Online Sales Dept. by proactively managing their calendar anticipating & resolving any scheduling conflicts, staying updated on daily priorities & tasks. In addition, I assist with administrative tasks: scheduling meetings, expense reports, shipping, ordering supplies, receiving visitors, planning events, gifting opportunities, & coordinating logistics for larger global team. When travel is needed all aspects including hotel, car service, excursions, & hospitality for international & domestic travel are executed. When executing the above, I try to build efficiency & effective responsiveness into existing operations to help define new operational strategies that streamline important information to my leaders and their direct reports. I have done this by developing, organizing, providing analysis & editing high level documents as needed. Tracking & helping drive completion of key deliverables by following up on outstanding items is key to success.I truly enjoy organizing, executing, and building team culture through staff meetings, all-hands, off-sites, and team social events including department employee specific celebrations (e.g., Birthdays, Anniversaries, Life events, etc.) Training, coaching or guiding other administrative staff when required is also a great pleasure. Acting as NYC Site Lead for LinkedIn’s Rock Your Profile initiative educating employees, members, customers, and partners in profile best practices, and how to connect to opportunity on LinkedIn has been a wonderful volunteer activity over the last year.I always appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for safeguarding our initiatives and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting issues with transparency.
