Acted as Strategic Planning Coordinator in SRD department of MCB, one of the largest banking group in Mauritius, for a portfolio of internal business units of MCB bank to integrate sustainability.

2018 to 2019: Acted as Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) expert in a newly created department for diversification of product portfolio at Omnicane to focus on special sugars and bioplastics. Elaborated the formulations of Dina Low GI and Dina Antioxidant sugars. Worked on the rebranding of Kara sugar into Dina Sugar for UAE markets including the packaging. 2016 to 2019: Provided technical expertise and project management support on the Africa Desk Team for the development and construction phases of the 5 MW Rukarara Mushishito hydroelectric power plant in Rwanda through a bespoke FIDIC Silver Book EPC Contract in line with IFC Standards and Equator Principles. Participated in various projects related to energy in Ghana, Malawi, Tanzania, South Africa, Kenya.2015 – 2017: Monitored project progress under the Collaborative Research and Innovation Grant Scheme (CRIGS) of the Mauritius Research Council for development of sustainable sugar projects with commercial potential, in partnership with the Mauritius Sugarcane Industry Research Institute.2014 – 2016: Provided project management support for the implementation of an environmentally friendly combustion residue processing unit, the “Carbon Burn-out” including supervision of installation, testing and commissioning of plant utilities including a 1MW steam turbine. Simultaneously worked on several EOIs for implementation of Solar, Wind and Biogas RE projects.2014: Project co-leader for upgrading the utilities and process at the Omnicane sugar factory. Simulated the complete industrial processes of the cane complex including the sugar factory, sugar refinery, ethanol plant, power plant and carbon burn out unit for optimisation and replicability.

Participation in Ph.D. thesis directed by Professor Daniel Morvan. The thesis was co-funded by the Électricité de France (EDF), AREVA, L’Agence de l'environnement et de la maîtrise de l'énergie (ADEME) using Plasma Technology and Engineering for environmentaL application.
