Wrote grant applications that were awarded a total of over $8.5 million to serve workers affected by these dislocations.

City of Lowell, MA, Office of Employment and Training, 1982-1994The Office of Employment and Training is under the Office of the Lowell City Manager and is responsible for development and administration of certain state and federally funded workforce development programs for the Greater Lowell region.Dislocated Worker Program Administrator, 1991-1994Developed and directed dislocated worker reemployment programs in the Greater Lowell region, including the formula-funded worker assistance center as well as separate emergency assistance centers for dislocated workers from Wang, Raytheon, Purity and North American Directory. Program Director, 1987-1991Directed the Department of Public Welfare funded Supported Work Program for the Greater Lowell area. This program provided job placement, on-the-job training, and support services to parents receiving public assistance.
