• PURPOSE OF THE JOB:To direct and manage the clubs’ young players’ pathway systems and environments from 12 – 21 years old to produce the best quality home grown players for the 1st team. PRINCIPAL DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:
• To ensure that the clubs structures incorporates all the necessary elements at the relevant stages including:Coaching, Athletic Development, Sports Medicine, Sport Science,, Educational aspects, Lifestyle, Mental.
• To recruit, manage and develop personnel involved in the clubs’ youth performance structure
• To develop external partnerships which add value to the clubs operations.
• Prepare and work to agreed budgets.
• To work with the squad players Under 21 in relevant areas including Jets and Airlie Bird Programmes on: Technical, Tactical and Physical components of training and to assess and evaluate playing performance on match.
