Experienced with the due diligence process associated with mergers and acquisitions and the detailed planning and execution of corporate divestitures. I am available for independent consulting and strategy work and possibly full-time employment for the right opportunity.I have been part of an executive management team responsible for selling a division of ING to a private equity firm and responsible for defining and executing the IT separation strategy, replacing all IT functions provided by ING to support the creation and growth of Cetera Financial Group as a privately held stand-alone company. I was responsible for leading programs as large as $35 million and up to 150 people across multiple physical locations. I have extensive experience in staffing and creating teams to implement strategic projects and a proven ability to lead the strategic planning and technical road-mapping process for a 900-employee organization. I started Strategic Tech Consulting in January 2017 to work with two firms that had previously been competitors to the firm I had been part of starting and participated in supporting one of them in a focused leadership role to separate from AIG. The initiative afforded me an opportunity to leverage my experience by effectively executing this type of corporate “spin-off” a second time. I have published my book, "How to Lead a Corporate Spin-off" in addition to completing both my Certified Professional Coaching Certificate and Primordial Sound Meditation Instructor with the Chopra Center and added Executive and Life Coaching, as well as Small Business Consulting to my portfolio of services.More recently, I have been supporting a large merger and acquisition effort at Advisor Group helping to integrate the Landenburg broker/dealers purchased in early 2020 and helping Advisor Group build and move their data center. In Oct 2020, I joined the board of CalPrivate Bank, a boutique community bank in Southern California serving high net worth clients.I have taken on Co-Chair position for CalPrivate’s Technology & Innovation committee.
