Tap is a startup that provides a cashless self-service solution for customers at events.• I participated in the project from the beginning, also responsible for creating prototypes. I created several sketches in Figma before diving into the code.• The frontend application was built using React and Next.JS, with Typescript. Next was chosen for server-side optimizations. Deployment was done using Vercel.• For the backend, initially (at the MVP launch), a Node.JS REST application was created using Typescript. Fastify was the library used for communication.• For data persistence, MySQL and MongoDB were used. Tables were created through migrations using knex.js. The ORM used was Objection.JS.• API and database deployment were initially done on AWS using EC2. After the end of the 12-month promotional period, they were migrated to GCP using Google Cloud Run. Domain management was initially done through Route 53 and has now been transitioned to Cloud Domain.• After MVP validation in the market, the API was rebuilt using standards such as DDD and Clean Architecture, aiming to create robust, scalable, and resilient code. In this new code, we chose Nest.JS with TypeORM. Tests were created using Jest.• This project involves integration with a third-party payment gateway. The gateway used is called IOPay.• For real-time communication, the Socket.IO library was used.

Reload Health is a healthtech startup. It has several products, ranging from a supplement recommendation system based on scientific articles to urine tests for biomarker monitoring.• When I joined the company, there were two major issues: a long processing time, which affected the user experience, and a lack of data tracking and processed results monitoring.• I managed to take the legacy code, a Node.JS REST API using Express, and reduce the user response processing time by up to 40%. To achieve this, I had to refactor the code, as well as cache and optimize complex database calls. Caching was done using Redis.• To address the lack of data management, I created algorithms for processing responses and storing data, and then developed several dashboards in Power BI for visual display of what was happening. This allowed the CEO to gain various insights and identify numerous issues. I persisted the data using MySQL.• After solving these issues, I was tasked with creating a dashboard for end-users. While not responsible for the design, I made numerous contributions on how we could improve our users' experience. I built this new dashboard using React and Next.JS. Deployment was done using Vercel.• Being the sole backend developer on the project, I consistently provided support for various other projects happening during this time.• I was later assigned to a new project, where I would create a new API and a new dashboard. The API was built using Nest.JS with Typescript and TypeORM. MySQL was the chosen database. The dashboard was developed using Next.JS with Typescript.• API deployments were carried out using GCP, specifically Cloud Run. Domain management was done using Cloud Domain. Some services were hosted on Compute Engine. For CI/CD, I utilized Cloud Build.

Tapitti was a healthtech startup that offered a platform connecting patients with healthcare professionals.• I participated in the creation of a GraphQL API in Node.JS, using Typescript, Fastify, and Apollo.• Developed a React Native mobile application for patients to schedule appointments.• Built a web frontend allowing patients to schedule appointments without the need to download a mobile application. React and Typescript were used for its development.• Created a system for professionals and clinics to organize and manage their schedules, utilizing React with Typescript.• Developed a system enabling professionals to showcase their profiles for patients to better acquaint themselves with. Next.JS was used for this system due to the necessity of SSR for improved SEO indexing.• Caching of calls was done both client-side and server-side, using Apollo.
