I grew up in the healthcare industry. I started working at a hospital at the age of 16 and remained there through college and beyond. My ideal career changed as I found interest in so many areas within the industry. An opportunity to be a medical credentialist took me on adventure outside of the hospital in corporate offices serving a wide range of medical professionals. Although I missed engaging with patients and their families, I did enjoy assisting our medical heroes. Credentialists are the people in the background making sure those in position to serve are within compliance. I was fortunate to be an environment that allowed me to participate in human resources duties like onboarding, training, and so much more. It took a while for me to realize it, but a passion for HR was being born.The healthcare industry highlighted my passion to serve people in a way that is kind, direct, and thorough. Being in some of the most stressful and time sensitive situations built up my time management and critical thinking skills and most importantly, I maintained an energy that made people feel seen, appreciated, and valued. I am a people person. I take pride in being a source of support and instruction.After years of excelling in healthcare, I stepped out and began my journey in HR. I have experience in full-cycle recruitment, employee engagement, and corporate culture/events. HR has allowed me to share other passions like creative writing, teaching, and public speaking. I enjoy what I do at work as well as in my own entrepreneurial endeavors. I add value to every space I enter! I'm excited about the future generations of the workforce!
