I am a partner at Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost, LLP and work in the Los Angeles, Inland Empire and Fresno offices. I represent and advise school districts in the areas of labor and employment, governance, litigation and student issues. I have successfully represented school districts in superior court and a variety of administrative hearings including teacher dismissals, certificated layoffs and classified suspension and/or terminations. I have also conducted complex employment and student related investigations and successfully defended school districts before the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Public Employment Relations Board. I have over 15 years of experience working in school districts and frequently present to school districts, administrators, parent and community groups on education law topics. I am a member of the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators and often use Spanish in my legal practice.I received my Juris Doctor with a Concentration in Intellectual Property Law and a master's degree in Mass Communication from Boston University in 2004, and also studied at the University of Buenos Aires, School of Law in Argentina. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2000. I have been admitted to practice by the California State Bar and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
