I am a developer who specializes in front-end web applications. I also have extensive experience in clinical research based on addiction (psychology). I currently work as an application developer for Libsyn specializing in front-end work. My journey started with my interest in psychology and pursuing a cognitive science degree at the University of Pittsburgh. I utilized this knowledge for clinical research and volunteer work at The Caring Place.My interests and goals changed, so I decided to pursue a career in web programming.I received formal training from the University of Pittsburgh and established a base for programming and web work. I did freelance work in web design/development while shifting my clinical research work to database management, data entry platforms, web analytics, and creating outreach websites related for research studies.I moved from research into a development role at AlphaGraphics. I learned about all things about design and marketing. I specialized in programming marketing campaigns and coding HTML emails (with all its idiosyncrasies vs web sites).After AlphaGraphics, I moved onto Libsyn and became a web application developer. I became the "front-end guy" and gave a refresh on various projects like the Libsyn Directory (directory.libsyn.com). I also became much more comfortable with PHP frameworks and backend coding by utilizing them in real world situations.Afterwards, my focus was in front-end development using JS frontends. I have extensive experience in React and some projects in Vue.
