I have developed pragmatic approaches to getting things done in whatever climate or environment we find ourselves in.Fundraising since 1987.Coaching since 1991.Business development since 1996.Key achievements 2021 – Received Long Service Award for completing 30 years of service with The Boys’ Brigade;2019 – Winning Inspirational Role Model award Witham Community and Safety Awards;2018 – Coordinating a shopping centre refurbishment to a fully let offering;2016 – Winning Outstanding Achievement award at New River REIT;2014 – Winning Town Champion Award at Braintree District Business Excellence Awards.2014 – Architecting and launching a five year strategic plan for Witham’s Youth and Community with multi-level partner buy-in from local MP, County, District and Town Councils, Local Policing Team, Chamber of Commerce, local Churches, local Housing Associations, schools and young people;2013 – Cycling Lands End to John O’Groats in nine days to raise funds for two local charities;2013 – Pioneering #TeamWitham, a week of community social action, initiated and led by the young people of Witham.2012 – At Urban Saints, passing the record milestone of 1,000 groups connecting through resources and training, making 40,000 young people being supported on a weekly basis (from a start of 450 groups);2011 - Winning a national award for the branding and marketing campaign of a new interactive mentoring resource for young people alongside Loughborough University, Sony Ericsson and Transport for London;2005 - Pioneering a new 14-18s curriculum programme to market from a trustees priority to launch and then to 2,400 weekly users in four months, with an ancillary product line supported by partner organisation.2000 - Opening a unit from a shell of a listed building to an operational and busy restaurant, serving the local college and residents. The quality of food, service and atmosphere recognised by the invitation to open another unit in the new town centre District Museum.1996 - Establishing a youth and community work in local schools from being the only part-time worker in eight schools to a team of workers serving 43 primary and secondary schools through lessons, assemblies, after school and lunchtime clubs.
