Mission seeks to do this through:• TEACHING — Quarterly workshops and webinars offer charities a practical, Biblically- based curriculum covering topics such as donor acquisition, major gifts, events, communications, leadership, and disciple making.• COACHING — Group and individual coaching allow charity leaders to further explore and implement MI’s teaching principles and also participate in book and other small group learning. Leaders who fully engage in MI activities are invited to participate at a deeper level with their ministry and fundraising operations.• CONSULTING — Each MI Area Director provides one-to-one consulting to a select group of charities; offering a more comprehensive and in-depth look at ministry and fundraising operations. The national leadership and senior management roles that I have held over the past 12 years with British Youth for Christ, Urban Saints and The Boys' Brigade have honed my experience in developing and implementing strategy, financial management, marketing and communication, operational oversight and raising significant charitable income.As an Operations Director, I have led and supported teams dispersed across national and regional offices and over 60 local centres delivering income generation and fundraising, marketing and communications, finance, human resources, admin support and IT.I have particular knowledge and experience of designing and delivering successful fundraising campaigns that have raised over £4 million. Through this I developed a process for building a three-year fundraising strategy with supporting operational plan, covering all income streams including appeals, individual giving, trusts, major/ high value donor and legacies.Core to my skillset is developing recovery plans to address funding deficits, enabling organisations to make tough decisions and prioritise work to reestablish stability and sustainability. I have also designed and implemented change management programmes to address organisational culture and underperformance. I can grasp quickly the core threats and issues, the possibilities and opportunities for recovery with the resources to hand, and bring people together to work in partnership, inspiring, motivating and empowering them to using their skills, experience and passion to achieve success together. I worked with a variety of organisations developing and implementing fundraising strategies, helping set priorities in income development, delivering training workshops, re-structuring Charities to align with new aims and objectives whilst complying with governance standards, creating, writing and editing an international resources for young people.

Overall responsibility for budget, producing Annual report, Statement of Financial Accounts to Charity Commission and Accounts to Companies House, alongside end of year return to YFC International. Also responsible for all resources at a national level to over 60 centres serving 25,000 young people on a weekly basis. Oversaw office relocation to purpose built facility, including IT implementation.
