Recently appointed as CFO at Wotton + Kearney, ready to take on this new and exciting chapter in my career. Prior to this I was an partner with 22 years’ experience in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Sydney specialising in providing audit and assurance services to a wide range of clients (including ASX100 and JSE 100) with extensive experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors. I am experienced in leading multi-disciplinary engagement teams and serving clients of large, complex multi-national audits with a wide range of technical accounting matters, acquisitions, disposals, fair value accounting and reporting obligations for listed entities. I understand the importance of meeting deadlines and ensuring accurate reporting of results.My client base has allowed me to gain valuable commercial understanding of all aspects of their businesses including claims, contract disputes, cost to complete assessments, wip management, debt raising as well as mergers and acquisitions.I have held leadership positions in the audit transformation team, internal practice reviews and operations management. I invest time in people within the organisation as well as clients to ensure I understand what motivates and drives them and work collaboratively to achieve a common goal. I also served as a Panel member on the Deloitte South Africa leadership assessment centre for new partner admissions.I am passionate about what I do and have a reputation for going above and beyond the call of duty to serve my clients’ needs.
