As a dedicated Network Manager with extensive experience in educational settings, I specialise in managing and deploying complex IT infrastructure and systems to enhance operational efficiency and safeguard data integrity. Currently, I serve as the Network Manager at Witchford Village College within The Eastern Learning Alliance, where I have successfully implemented a range of initiatives, including the "Connect the Classroom" programme.My career journey has equipped me with a robust skill set in system and network administration, including proficiency in Active Directory, O365 Admin Center, and the configuration of Netgear Switches. My experience spans roles as an IT Technician at Downham Market Academy, where I managed large-scale deployments of iPads and maintained network integrity across multiple schools, to my foundational training as an IT Apprentice at Camfed International.Key achievements include:- Leading the deployment of access points across the Witchford Village College site, and deploying Netgear Switches to upgrade the current infrastructure.- Successfully onboarding two new secondary schools into our network within a few months and deploying software on over 200 machines.- Managing an apprentice at Witchford Village College, providing critical training and mentorship.My educational background includes a City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles, and a Level 2 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence from Cambridge Regional College. These qualifications have provided me with a solid foundation in networking principles, server administration, and technical support. I am also currently studying to take the Microsoft SC-900 to gain a deeper understanding of cyber security.
