With more than twenty years experience in the non-profit sector, Lissie Diringer has built her career on meeting the immediate, time-sensitive challenges of a development office while simultaneously working on long-term planning to secure the future of an organization.Ms. Diringer is a veteran of capital and endowment campaigns – ranging from $140 million at the NYU Child Study Center to $650 million at The Metropolitan Museum of Art to $1.2 billion at UJA-Federation – and has successfully worked with board members, prospects, donors, volunteers and senior staff to raise hundreds of millions of dollars. She has conducted feasibility and planning studies, and has helped institutions recruit and train new trustees, solicit transformational gifts, develop strategic plans, launch new membership programs and annual appeals, and install and operate new donor management systems. She has written campaign handbooks and case statements, proposals, brochures, newsletters and websites. A graduate of Brown University and a former adjunct faculty member at the Columbia University Master of Science in Fundraising Management program, she has particular expertise in major gifts fundraising and in helping organizations leverage existing programs and resources to better cultivate lead prospects. Ms. Diringer is also skilled in elevating special events and galas into major gift campaigns as she did at the NYU Child Study Center, taking their annual benefit from $4 million to $9 million in two years.Specialties: Board development.
