I was responsible for the majority of Heritage's marketing efforts and analysis, including print and email campaigns, blogs, social media presence and website. I helped research markets for potential prospects, developed campaigns, and even assisted some of our clients with their own marketing strategies.I also helped our event team with our annual trade show, Sprout. I changed the way attendees could register by establishing a landing page with the plan that it would eventually become the event's homepage. Previously, the team got a rough head count by depending on email replies. But the landing page and form allowed attendees to easily register for themselves and colleagues so all we had to do was export the data. It was much more efficient and made the event "feel more professional"​, as some of my colleagues commented. Sprout is already a highly-anticipated event among our clients and I'm really excited to see it grow.

I created content to promote and sell the industry-leading real estate appraisal software suite and associated products. Though I primarily wrote and designed emails, postcards, and mailed brochures, I also updated product webpages, helped maintain the company Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn social pages and wrote posts for the Appraisal Team blog, ranging from promotional to advice on marketing tactics for our customers. I tracked the success of our email campaigns and distributed the data to the marketing and sales teams. I worked closely with Product Managers, the Internal Development team, Sales, and the Chief Marketing Officer to coordinate advertising campaigns with product updates, new releases, and annual and seasonal sales.

I wrote and edited copy for promotional emails, postcards, press releases, landing pages, and social media posts. I was in charge of putting together a semi-regular newsletter distributed to over 30,000 readers as well as our “Tech Tips”, which help our customers save time and get the most efficient use from our products.

Responsibilities included greeting clients, helping them complete their initial intake paperwork, creating online charts, determining fees based on treatment, scheduling assessments, individual sessions and discharges, and writing and distributing progress notes and attendance records for counselors and the Departments of Corrections and Human Services (respectively). I also served as liaison between client and counselors, prepared check requests for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, collected copays and maintained balances for client accounts, entered Consumer Data Cores for first contact billing, prepared nightly deposits and helped develop new front office procedures.In terms of writing and marketing, I managed NAIC's Facebook and Twitter pages, producing content to inform and educate its followers. I also assisted in creating content and helped with designing the layout for the agency newsletter that was sent to board members as well as members of the community. I proofread and edited grant proposals, newspaper ads and promotional flyers.

My duties were mainly clerical. I scheduled and confirmed appointments, secured prior authorizations from insurance companies, prepared and sent faxes, maintained patient charts, greeted and discharged patients, and prepared schedules for up to four respective doctors. I was trained in billing, charge entry, some medical coding as well as light medical training including administering injections, cleaning ears, and assessing vital signs.

I regularly dealt with customer inquiries and transactions, balanced the register at both opening and close of business, prepared nightly deposits, kept the merchandise and the store clean and helped to maintain a comfortable environment for customers and other employees.
