Urbee was an internet technology venture that I founded with two additional individuals. We raised a small amount of seed capital to prove out an idea which ultimately ended up being unsuccessful and led to the closure of the business. We built a tool that would scrape and parse event information commonly associated with the search term" Things to do in [insert city]," and then aggregated the results into a simple to use mobile application. The longer-term goal was for individuals to use the application in any city to find activities and events to attend.I led the design efforts for the web and mobile applications, built the front end of our sites using HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and also led the sales/marketing efforts in Houston.

Executed two simultaneous ethanol injection projects that enabled the ExxonMobil Refinery in Billings, Montana to increase the octane of their gasoline without sacrificing energy credits to an outdated form of fuel creation. With the installation of sidestream ethanol blending ExxonMobil Pipeline was able to realize a small profit through a volumetric increase that occurs due to blending before metering.Executed two $7,000,000 directional drills in response to the Yellowstone Pipeline rupturing in Montana. This project was under strict regulations from the DOT due to the oil spill. We finished both drills in time and within regulations despite the frigid weather conditions during the Montana winter.Served on the Smart Pig committee (award for innovation/efficiencies), the United Way planning committee, and organized the company softball and football intramural leagues.

Worked with a Risk and Integrity Specialist to create the first testing procedure for internal coating on ExxonMobil's brine pipelines.Completed various other engineering related tasks like optimizing tank capacity and verifying tool runs.
