Since 1996, the Greater Rochester Choral Consortium has enriched the Rochester community’s cultural environment by fostering the choral arts.The Rochester area is home to an abundance of excellent community and professional choral ensembles, where nearly a thousand singers find vocal challenge and artistic fulfilment.The Greater Rochester Choral Consortium provides a welcoming environment for the leadership of choral ensembles to network and collaborate. It is a forum where community choral ensembles share information and discuss topics related to the choral art: performance schedules, collaboration, venues, contacts, techniques, recruitment, fundraising, administration , to mention a few.Our hallmark biennial event is the “Taste Of Song” prism style concert performed at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre in which our member groups provide ninety minutes of uninterrupted choral music.The GRCC Annual Grant Award (up to $1000) is given to any member group whose application best meets the grant’s objectives.

Bonded in friendship, GVOC members delight in sharing their musical talents and versatility. GVOC has developed a repertoire ranging from spirituals to show tunes and folk songs to oratorios. The Genesee Valley Orchestra and Chorus is dedicated to providing opportunities for musical growth for its members and enriching the lives of area residents by presenting high quality musical performances throughout the Genesee Valley. • Manage all research activities for 4 US and 3 Canadian offices, including inception, design, testing, execution and final results analysis of research initiatives and media planning for Fortune 500 companies across North America. • Lead team of local research employees to ensure efficiency and delivery of best in class analysis/reporting. • Provide strategic planning and research-based marketing intelligence to clientele; Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure on target media allocation and maximum return on investment across media channels.• Engage in new business development: competitive analysis, strategic thought leadership, and media landscape perspectives culminating in presentations to pitch the business. • Facilitate training and development for Directional Media Consultants, Account Managers, Account Directors and newly hired Senior Management in research, Internet Yellow Pages (IYP), media planning and related topics. • Negotiate best in class local search programs across media platforms; Responsible for development, execution and reporting of annual customer satisfaction survey. • Participant in 6 Industry-related meetings (LSA: Local Search Association); presented solutions-oriented ideas illustrating how traditional LSA industry could better leverage their partnerships with other companies

Responsible for developing, managing, and evaluating research-based directional media programs (both in print and online) for DAC (Group).Developed RFP (new business response for proposal) responses; Designed studies to develop research-based business solutions for clients; Implemented annual strategic planning across US and Canadian accounts to ensure sound program direction; Provided research and points of view on industry changes/initiatives to North American clientele; Interfaced directly with clients and account team lead on transition plans and media landscape strategies; Chaired Local Search Association sub-committee for special industry initiatives.

Develop and taught courses in Social Policy and Adolescent Development.

Provided oversight to over 30 programs and services offered by the organization’s four Divisions (Youth Services, Family & Children Services, Developmental Disabilities, and Business Development). Job Duties included the following: proposal writing on local, state and federal level; gathering research related to best practice programs and outcome measurements; data analysis; program evaluation; developing measurement instruments; providing technical assistance to programs and services. Creating fact sheets and briefings on timely research and program issues. Lead internal evaluator of federally sponsored mentoring program. In that capacity, responsibilities include compiling data, drafting reports and constant contact/information sharing with national evaluator and Federal grant manager.

Researched, analyzed and compiled numerous research studies related to policy issues affecting the well being of children, youth and families. Created fact sheets and briefings on timely research and policy issues. Composed and edited sections of a welfare reform secondary research study undertaken by UWMB Public Policy Department. Developed interview strategies and conducted numerous interviews with research and policy experts across the country. Aided in the planning of numerous Leadership Council meetings and subcommittee meetings.
