As Chief Talent Officer at Benesch, I work closely with our Managing Partner, Practice Group Chairs, and other of our amazing C-Suite team to execute on our firm's strategic plan. The scope of my role includes: 1) lateral attorney talent acquisition, 2) next generation attorney recruiting (law school recruiting), 3) lateral integration, and 4) attorney professional development at all levels, from law students to emerging leaders, to continuous career advancement and leadership development of our more senior attorneys. I am fortunate to work with and manage a talented team spread across these core functions that implement the day-to-day operations. In this role, I had firm-wide responsibility for recruiting and placing top talent in all of our office locations. I focused my efforts on lateral recruiting and on the firm's Summer Associate and On Campus Interviewing programs. I worked alongside Benesch’s firm leadership to carry-out strategic initiatives for attracting top talent and for growing the Benesch team. I servied on the firm’s Hiring Committee. Additionally, I worked with the firm’s Practice Group Chairs to develop training programs that support the continued growth and success of our attorneys and paralegals across all of our office locations. I directed all programs related to onboarding and integration, mentoring, practice group specific training, and played an active role in performance management programs. I also worked closely with the firm’s Associate Development Committee, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and Women’s Initiative.
