As a bio-optical researcher at Singapore Eye Research Institute. I'm focusing on developing innovative optical imaging systems and exploring physics-informed bio-markers of retina diseases before significant morphology/angiography changes. Also interested in the development of AR/VR/MR and their long term effects on the eye. 6+ years experience with fiber-based or free-space optical imaging system design and alignment. Expertise in optical coherence tomography (OCT), hyper-spectral imaging, dynamic light scattering (DLS), and image processing. Skilled in Optics, Image processing, Matlab, LabVIEW.I hold a PhD in physics from University of Waterloo, where I also served as a lab teaching assistant demonstrating the concept of dispersion, interference, diffraction (etc.) and guiding and providing feedback to undergrad.5 journal publications, 13+ conference presentations.
