I was a lead software engineer for EdenNet, an industry-leading SON (self-organizing network) solution that enables wireless network operators to automate the operation and maintenance of their networks, as well as drive transformation to 5G.My responsibilities included: • Leading R&D coding team in the development of software modules that provide SON functionalities for the 3G, 4G and 5G wireless networks. • Working closely with customers to acquire requirements. I worked very closely with Product Management to determine, clarify, and adjust scope of works, and to ensure that the end results are within expectation.Some examples of my work: ◦ Geo-Location: I developed an algorithm that determines the locations of the UEs relying strictly on GSM and WCDMA network OSS data without the aid of GPS data. This allows users to geo-locate problematic events, network hot spots, or to follow calls geographically. It also enables a statistical view of geographical problem area. The accuracy of the prediction is in line with other leading products. I was co-awarded a patent for the geo-location method (US 8918304). ◦ Multi-Dimensional KPIs system: Aggregation of statistics for accessibility, retainability, mobility, and packet-switched data KPIs. This allows a high-level view of a network’s performance and also drilling down to detailed analyses. This feature helps the users to quickly identify and troubleshoot poorly performing network nodes, clusters, phone models, and individual subscribers.I was trained and certified as a SCRUM Master.

I served in multiple roles, at different time periods, in the development of TEMS DeskCAT.TEMS DeskCAT is an analysis and visualization software tool for drive test data collected on 1G, 2G and 3G networks. DeskCAT provides a rich user interface, integrating GIS maps, charts and reporting tools to allow users to pinpoint network issues.As a lead developer, I was involved in multiple aspects of software development, from prototypes, system design, and code development. I served as the lead software developer for the following products: CellQuest, CMA, Data Proc.● These products are post-processing, analysis and visualization software tools for analyzing drive test data collected from AMPS, NAMPS, ETACS, IS-54 networks.● CellQuest was developed in the Unix/Motif/X-Windows platform, using C++.● CMA was developed on the MS-DOS platform, using C++.● Data Proc was the first LCC’s data processing tool. It was written in C, running on MS-DOS.
