Vietnamese-Chinese born in Australia. Received Bachelors of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2017 from RMIT University, Australia, and Masters of Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering in 2020My Masters by Research was in Material Science looking into piezoelectric properties in 2D materials, with a focus on monochalcogenides. My journey up until now:My mindset sits around the phrase "If it were easy, it wouldn't be fun". I like to try new things and thus have a myriad of hobbies and interests. Though coming from an art background, I dove into engineering because I wanted to learn something new and to see if I could do it. The high school me studied 3 languages other than English, then choose to electrical and electronic engineering for university seemingly out of the blue. Then moving to Japan on my own for an internship not knowing the language and having never left my family home before. Then coming back to Australia to do a Masters degree that leaned towards chemistry and quantum physics, things I had never understood before!As Barbie once said in Barbie and The Secret Door (2014): “You never know what you can do unless you try.”
