I am Le Yi Manoharan, a student studying at Republic Polytechnic. I have a strong passion in Graphic Design, User Interface Design, and starting Social and environmental projects.With a strong foundation in campus publicity, I am eager to contribute to research and website development, as well as apply my social media marketing skills. Throughout my journey at Republic Polytechnic, I have thoroughly developed my technical skills with interfaces such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and AutoCAD, where I have used the design thinking process in my research, including conducting use research, conducting interviews, making personas, developing wireframes, mockups, and then developing high-fidelity user interface prototypes. Additionally, I picked up coding, particularly in HTML and CSS, where I got to bring my prototypes to life and make my designs responsive.Throughout my academic journey, I have also won multiple awards for academics, entrepreneurship, and starting Service learning projects. Besides presenting my projects in school, I am also well-versed in pitching ideas. My school's Entrepreneurship Bootcamp competition helped me develop my public speaking skills, to which I won first place. I have volunteered in environmental and leadership projects such as Mission X and Friends of Singa. Besides academics, I have dedicated majority of my time and effort to developing social media posts and animations for my club's campus publicity. I have also led in the planning, organizing, and co-ordination of Orientation Programme 2024, and actively collaborated with my club mates to plan and execute regular bonding activities. I am also an active Peer Support Leader, where I learned to be socially responsible, patient, and empathetic towards the needs of my peers.In Addition, my past part-time job as an Art teacher at The Drawing Mint has taught me the value of patience, responsibility, and being teachable. I was entrusted with the safety of the children and received a commendation for being adaptable to sudden work schedules.
