Guide and support high school students on their path to college through academic planning, self-exploration, and college research that is engaging, focused, and organized into manageable steps. My goal is for students to understand more fully why they want to go to college and what matters to them so that they are prepared and ready to put forward strong.

Provide input and oversight to vision and direction of local education fund that has been making teachers' dreams realities and supporting excellence in Berkeley's public schools for over 30 years. Actively participate in fundraising campaign and in determining the allocation of grant funding to teachers and schools.

Advise superintendent and executive management of the Berkeley Unified School District on internal and external communications and develop parent/community outreach strategies, programs, events; serve on the Superintendent’s Communications Team. Areas include: Strategic Communication, Awareness Campaigns, College & Career Readiness, Inclusive Family.

Studied the research on effective high schools and represented the voice of students and parents on the team dedicated to bringing effective reform efforts to Berkeley High School. In addition, provided pro-bono consulting services to strategize community outreach and effective parent communications about the Universal 9th grade program.
