Especially, I have been in charge of drafting the section that presents our understanding of the object to be evaluated. That is, I presented the organisation and the project to be evaluated, collected as much information as possible on it to reconstruct its theory of change and analyse differences in implementation across locations. Sometimes I also conducted literature reviews on certain topics of special relevance for the project.More recently, I have been in charge of developing some workshops for a strategic team retreat we will soon have. The main topics they will cover are team dynamics and coordination, a review of the tools we use in our day to day work and an analysis of market competition. Show less

I spent 7 months working in U4IMPACT, lending a hand to whichever team that needed it. Essentially, I was selected to work on a collaborative basis on the review and development of their Monitoring and Evaluation system, which I then used to write my International Studies final bachelor thesis. This included, reviewing past attempts to measure the organization's impact, drafting a report, setting up a new system for the definition of objectives, writing down the project's intervention logic… Show more I spent 7 months working in U4IMPACT, lending a hand to whichever team that needed it. Essentially, I was selected to work on a collaborative basis on the review and development of their Monitoring and Evaluation system, which I then used to write my International Studies final bachelor thesis. This included, reviewing past attempts to measure the organization's impact, drafting a report, setting up a new system for the definition of objectives, writing down the project's intervention logic, designing a survey, using it to gather data from beneficiaries, analysing it using logistic regressions and PCA to finally provide conclusions on the effects of the programme and recommendations for improvement. It has been a pleasure to be an intern at the General Sub-Directorate of Multilateral and European Policies within the General Directorate of Sustainable Development Policies. I have learned a lot thanks to the diversity of topics and institutions covered by this Sub-Directorate. I have been working on the topic of tax exemptions, attending several courses from the OECD and the German Development Institute, which I will use for my final bachelor thesis of Economics. But I have also attended several conferences on the localisation of SDGs, on sustainable recovery, blended finance...
