Open Minded - Detail-Oriented – Enthusiastic – Driven – Friendly – Passionate Being an international student-athlete at a Division 1 college in the United States came with its challenges but ultimately turned me into a better person and a better athlete. I learned a new culture, learned the importance of communication, and learned how to be a key member of a team. Being a full-time student and an athlete was very busy and traveling all over the country has oftentimes made it difficult, however, time management became paramount for me to stay on top of my studies and my golf game. I learned how to prioritize my time to succeed. Playing golf on a high level has taught me the importance of hard work, dedication, and resilience. Being a student-athlete has made me stronger by getting me out of my comfort zone and overcoming the challenges I faced. I truly believe in saying “you only fail when you don’t try“ which is why I always try to do my best and give my best efforts.
