• Responsible for 400+ Client files annually throughout numerous markets including Sports, Leisure, Convention and Youth generating over 1 million dollars each year • Act as each meeting planner’s main contact by preparing Banquet Event Orders, keeping accurate records, being on-site during events, and providing the final bill to the client • Conduct both pre-conference and post-conference meetings as needed to review each group’s needs and their feedback from each conference• Manages each group’s room blocks to ensure group is meeting contracted room nights• Build relationships with clients through phone and e-mail discovery • Partner and build relationships with different operational areas including catering, culinary, entertainment, audio visual, and transportation to create and execute events that exceed each guest’s expectations• Forecast each group’s initial revenue, as well as provide any updated forecasting as it becomes available• Ensures billing accuracy and reviews all bills with each client prior to final processing

• Serviced roughly 600 events including meetings, luncheons, award ceremonies, dessert parties, and movie screenings with guest counts per event up to 3,600• Attended pre-con meetings as well as site inspections and planning sessions to be actively involved in the planning stages of upcoming groups• Developed leadership skills through mentoring our interns by reviewing BEOs, answering questions, and providing feedback to help expand their knowledge of the event industry• Acted as a liaison between 9 Convention Service Managers and their clients covering 220,000 square feet of convention space, conducting on-site recovery and meeting client needs to exceed guest expectations
