EY PAS (TAX) is part of the Mobility Germany Team. They ensure compliance with immigration, tax and social security law as well as an effective mobility programm. My team focused on compliance work regarding income tax problems especially from and to America and Europe. During my 11 months as a working student, I learned valuable lessons about international income tax problems and how to strategically solve them by advising the client adequately. My work consisted in compiling income tax returns and reviewing income tax assessments. Also, I frequently communicated with German tax authorities.

During my 3 months as an intern and 7 month as a freelancer, I especially helped start-ups and young companies to a successful start into self-employment and set the course for a successful future of their business. Whether it's a business plan, subsidy consulting or sustainability analysis. That I did by analysing their business model from head to toe - including market research, financial analys, SWOT-analysis, client communication and preparing for the communication with banks.
