I am a PhD researcher at the Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge, specialising in international environmental and climate change law. My research focuses on emerging ecocentric legal frameworks such as rights of nature and ecocide law. At Cambridge, I am the Executive Director of the Cambridge Pro Bono Project, where I coordinate and work on high-impact legal initiatives. I also co-lead the Youth for Ecocide Law branch of Stop Ecocide International. As a UN delegate, I've represented youth voices at major conferences such as Stockholm+50, COP27, COP28 and the UNFCCC SB58 conference.My academic background includes an LL.M in Global Environmental and Climate Change Law from the University of Edinburgh and a First-Class Honours MA in International Relations & Sustainable Development from the University of St Andrews. At St Andrews I was awarded the Principal's Medal in recognition of my academic excellence and service to the university community. I have also served as a student advisor on the Environmental Sustainability Board and as the elected Environmental Officer for the Students' Association.In terms of climate communication, I have over five years' experience of hosting radio shows and podcasts, and my passion for environmental advocacy extends to my creative work. I have published DEAR EARTH, a book of poetry that combines art and advocacy. I am also a published researcher on sustainable governance in health care and have co-authored a book on the subject.Every week I publish 'Legal Wednesdays' on LinkedIn - a newsletter on international environmental and climate law developments.
