As a professional sports broadcaster, keynote speaker, corporate board director, former Division 1 athlete, and a mom I have spent my life learning about the benefits—and costs—to winning. My unique perspective on winning in sports, in business and in life has given me a game plan on how to win with purpose and passion in the board room, on the playing field and Board Member.A sought-after motivational keynote speaker I thrive on helping people and businesses find their wins while staying true to their values and beliefs. I have spoken at corporate meetings, for professional sports teams, and collegiate events. As a Division I basketball player, I transformed my success on the court into a sports journalism career. I broadcasted basketball on ESPN’S national WNBA coverage, as a game analyst for the Minnesota Lynx and sideline reporter for the Minnesota Timberwolves on Bally Sports North. Throughout my sports journalism career, I have interviewed dozens of winning athletes and coaches, from high school to pro, about what it takes to win.I founded Rethink the Win, a nonprofit organization supporting athletes, coaches and parents dedicated to preserving the fun in youth sports while teaching kids how to apply lessons learned in sports to the real world.Passionate about promoting women in the media, I served on the Minnesota Twins Community Foundation Board and served at the invitation of Gov. Mark Dayton on the Minnesota State High School League Board. Committed to the next generation of leaders, I mentored African-American athletes at the University of Minnesota, moderated a civil rights discussion featuring U.S. Congressman John Lewis and interviewed Bill and Hillary Clinton.Ready to inspire your team to Play to Win?
