Director of IT for Job EPC Company (industrial engineering). Current responsibilities include development of engineering data management application used in-house, maintenance of VMWare hosts, Windows Server 2012, backup using ShadowProtect. Support 50+ users, including 20 CAD users, utilizing AutoCAD with CADWorx and AutoCAD Plant. My primary responsibility is development of an in-house database applications, utilizing SQL Server 2014, C#, ASP.NET, WPF, and PowerShell.Previously I was a Senior Programmer/Analyst for a global mining equipment company. Responsible for design and implementation of multiple applications on various platforms used throughout the organization. These included WinForms and WPF desktop applications, as well as intranet sites using ASP.NET.Formerly worked as CAD Manager for over 50 CAD users. In that capacity I was heavily involved in configuration and customization of our CAD environment. I wrote many programs to automate drawing tasks in both Autocad and Microstation, including 3D drawing tools, and synchronization with external data sources.Several years ago I was an Autodesk Certified Instructor and taught classes on a variety of topics covering Autocad and 3DS Max. I am also a technical author with published books on a variety of topics, including Microsoft Excel 2000 and Excel 2002 (XP).I have been a speaker at Autodesk University since 2015, presenting on a variety of programming and AutoCAD related topics. I was voted by my attendees as a top rated speaker in 2017 and 2018.
