I love seeing the look on a coaching client's face when they have just experienced a breakthrough or show up with new-found confidence. Using dialog and inquiry, I help senior executives to first-time leaders in the healthcare, early child care and nonprofit industries become aware of the gaps between present reality and future goals. My philosophy is, "You cannot grow unless you know, and you cannot know unless you assess, so assess for the better or best outcomes." Assessments bring awareness to communication, emotional intelligence, listening, conflict resolution, and stress management skills. We then build action plans that support lasting change. Working within organizations as an external, internal coach, I help middle-level managers, supervisors, and frontline workers reach the next level of their potential. More often than not, employees are more open with an external partner to help them navigate organizational politics and sensitive information and have an outside sounding board. As an outside coach, I can adjust quickly to meet just-in-time needs and offer leadership development and succession processes to meet each employee's growth.There is nothing like walking the talk when coaching clients. Realizing the need to continue developing my skills as a coach, I pursued an Internal Coach Program Certification through the Hudson Institute of Coaching. The additional training put me on the track to achieve my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the most nationally and internationally recognized accrediting body of coaches, the International Coaching Federation (ICF). With additional coach training, coaching, and mentoring I gained the (Professional Certified Coach) PCC certification in 2023. The wealth of leadership knowledge and training gained as a certified John Maxwell Coach has helped me coach teams towards enhanced collaboration, better outcomes, and sustainable results.When I am not coaching, I am either enjoying nature with a hike or camping. Running, walking, or reading are some of my favorite hobbies. Mindfulness meditation helps keep me stay focused and grounded. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. rhonda@wiseandintouch.com
