As a creative director at Imbibe, Lea Friedman approaches business challenges thoughtfully and aims to design extraordinary brand experiences across all touch-points. Lea’s love of architecture and travel has inspired her work in place branding and the commercial real estate world, working with clients ranging from The City of Sandy Springs to mixed-use developments such as Colony Square, OAK, Riverton, Revel and High Street. She also is passionate about publication design and was honored to work with Sara Blakely as a designer on The New York Times best seller The Belly Art Project, with proceeds benefiting Every Mother Counts. Before founding Imbibe with her husband Ben, Lea did design work for a variety of companies including Iconologic, Atlanta-based EAI and Copeland Hirthler design + communications. Her work has garnered wide industry recognition in major national and international design competitions, including the AIGA Design Archives, Type Directors Club, London International Awards, Communication Arts and The Mohawk Show, among others. Lea graduated from Auburn University’s School of Visual Communications, with a minor in Art History. She received the Distinguished Service Award from Auburn’s College of Architecture Design and Construction in 2008.
