The Director of Retention Data reports to the Senior Associate Dean of Retention and Strategic Initiatives. This role is a key leader in the Newcomb-Tulane College and oversees multiple data initiatives with a specific focus on undergraduate retention and persistence. The director is required to access, compile, and manage large data sets for analyses that result in accurate reporting on enrollment and retention trends. Additionally, the director effectively communicates findings and recommendations to the senior associate dean, other members of the College's leadership team, and various campus partners and leaders. To facilitate this work, the director creates and/or enhances various analytical tools that will drive new analysis techniques.The director is a key contributor to discussions and decisions regarding technology adoption in the College, including CRM and other software tools. The director will serve as the College's liaison to the University's information technology enterprise as well as contribute to the University's data warehouse protocols.
