I was responsible for research and academic content in school data and learning analytics systems used with between 50-95% of Norwegian students. I collaborated with district leaders, and created and led workshops to increase use of data for reflection and school improvement. I also developed digital resources connected to national strategies and focus areas.

Oslo Area, Norway

I supported research on a variety of educational measurement and assessment projects. Topics include PISA, TIMSS, and other International Large Scale Assessments; critical thinking skills tests; and national assessments. I also helped to promote a new international Master of Assessment and Evaluation.

Greater Boston Area

I worked in partnership with American school districts committed to improving outcomes for their lowest performing schools. In addition to conducting district and school audits aligned to research-driven frameworks, I developed a variety of managerial tools for school improvement.

Trondheim Area, Norway

I led English as a Foreign Language instruction for students at the elementary school, high school, and university level. Working at Lade Skole, Byåsen Videregående Skole, and NTNU, I created student-driven lessons about the English language, academic writing, and American and British culture and history.

Baltimore, Maryland Area

I supported and advised Baltimore's lowest-performing schools in school reform efforts through facilitating leadership planning meetings, assessing data, and conducting research in best practices for academics and school culture. I also researched and presented a report to Central Office leadership about creating a culture of change throughout the district.
