I graduated from Des Moines University's Master of Health Care Administration program December 2019, which is CAHME accredited. I hope to eventually become an executive director in a hospital or clinic. I am passionate about improving the quality and safety of health care services and want to do my part in improving patient's outcomes. I am currently looking to transition from the direct patient care to a leadership role. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Allen College's Nuclear Medicine Technology program earning a Bachelor's in Health Sciences. I am employed at UnityPoint Health Des Moines and The Iowa Clinic as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist. My work consists of utilizing radioactive pharmaceuticals to image and assist physicians in determining the function of an organ. I am a member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. I was selected as the 2016 Missouri Valley Chapter Outstanding Student Award for Iowa. My volunteer experiences consist of being a student volunteer at Allen Hospital, where I assisted in clerical work. I've helped lower socioeconomic families with Christmas shopping through the Salvation Army and helped package meals for the elderly through the Food Bank. Lastly, I've become a big sister through the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization of Central Iowa. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, and playing the violin and piano.
