I worked as a primary care provider within a large primary care practice. I saw patients daily and addressed concerns. I routinely ordered diagnostic testing and interpreted these findings. In my role I performed extensive patient education and discussion of preventive screenings.

Taught advanced pharmacology to remote MSN students, created lessons regarding pharmacological interventions for varied diagnoses, and educated through remote services.

I educated nursing students in a critical care clinical setting, used CCRN skills, evaluated clinical forms from students and applied remediating advice to students. Also, learned extensive flexibility as we transitioned to remote education during COVID lockdown and even performed remote clinical simulations

As an ED NP, I efficiently triaged patients, ordered and performed appropriate diagnostic testing, assessed them for urgent changes in their status, interpreted various testing results, and diagnosed and treated them throughout the course of a shift. I would also routinely admit patients to the hospital, communicating effectively with other providers and administrative parties. I educated and trained many NPs and NP students while in this role. I worked as the inpatient nurse practitioner for a large cardiology practice. I would routinely round on patients, assess for emerging concerns, and treat appropriately. I communicated efficiently and effectively with other providers within the hospital. I routinely managed patients in critical situations, sent them to the cath lab, and performed ACLS and critical nursing skills when necessary. Performed extensive patient education within this role as well.
