I first started as bar staff and kept this as a second job alongside my other jobs.I then got promoted to Promotions manager where I would be responsible for getting bookings. I helped introduce a new planning system to help keep on top of bookings.I was then made to be an assistant manager where I would assist in the day to day running of a 600 capacity late night venue. I would be responsible for cash and stock management, labour and recruitment. I created training modules so the staff had more knowledge of their job and to keep them motivated.

I would be responsible for helping in the delivery of a quality of care and education for children under five years old. I would develop positive relationships with all children and their parents/guardians. I would have my own key children where I would plan activities appropriate to their age and developmental stage.

I would have to input staff data into the computer system to keep up to date with how many hours staff were working. I would have to delete irrelevant data on our system. I would take calls dealing with customers problems and complaints. I would phone customers to get their parcels out to them. I helped keep up to date with emails I filter the emails putting them in to the correct folders and forwarding them to the appropriate people.

I would filter the emails and forward them to the appropriate person. I would email customers regarding their vehicles, when they were needed to be serviced, etc. I would also photocopy important documents such as MOT certificates and service sheets and file them for each individual vehicle. I would use the fax machine to send documents regarding the customer’s vehicles.Whilst in the office I would take calls help customers with queries and take messages for the mechanics in the garage. I would also make calls to book in services and MOT’s and to locate ordered parts.
