As the Group Sales and Marketing Coordinator for the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau I did "inbound" marketing to promote the area and encourage group tours in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley. My job included social media, website content, event email campaigns, group sales, trade shows, itinerary building and building connections to bring visitors to the GBV.

As a contributing writer for Demand Studios, I specialized in holistic health and nutrition, gardening and horticulture and travel related articles. This included writing web content, brochure copy and research material for Demand Studios clients.

As a freelancer, I utilized internet networking sites to identify clients and generate content for their various needs. Projects included grant writing, blogs, newsletters, press releases and news articles. In this role I also maintained financial records, advertised services and facilitated billing. My work was featured on Garden Guides, Travels.com and Trails.com.

As a writer for The Inter-Mountain Newspaper it was my responsibility to write regular reports on City Council meetings and committee meetings, And to follow city related infrastructural issues. I developed feature articles for lifestyles section, lifestyles pagination and content development, including assigning articles and designing the layout for the lifestyle section of the weekend edition.In addition, I covered environmental issues, at The Inter-Mountain.
