Responsible for the physical protection of SCI and collateral classified information and resources under the control of the Joint Staff in accordance with DoD, Intelligence Community, and Joint Staff directives. Performs physical security inspections. Completes Fixed Facility Checklists, Facility Accreditations processes, and Emergency Action Plans. Manages a physical security program compliant with ICD 705 and applicable regulations for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).

Produce a wide range of classified and unclassified criminal intelligence products for global customers. Conduct classified and unclassified research and provide criminal intelligence related analysis of trends. Prepare and present time-sensitive products to meet indication and warning requirements for wider dissemination and inclusion into the system that projects the common operating picture. Prepare and present time sensitive police intelligence updates, written and verbal.

Analyze crime information, statistical data, reports, and documents from federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. Provide regular intelligence updates to the police chief, investigators, and other police departments for actionable intelligence. Assist investigators by developing photo lineups, criminal profiles, and investigating personnel for ongoing investigations. Correlates information from police reports with map data to gain a complete idea of the crimes committed in the area. Study reports to identify crime patterns and trends. Research crime data, history, and other information using local and national resources. Produce geographical crime maps of the local area. Serves as a liaison between local departments and other agencies to facilitate information sharing. Report individual findings from the analysis of all investigative material on an ongoing basis, write intelligence reports, and create graphics and working aids.
