Performs Audit duties for cooperative societies

I performed the following duties invoicing and validation of payment vouchers via IFMIS system, writing cheques, assisted in preparing financial reports and statements, preparing cashbooks and bank reconciliations, imprest management, liaised with procurement to verifying and processing payment of local service/ product orders (LSO/LPO) and maintaining proper books of accounts for the funds and the department.

Performed attachment at Laikipia County Government department of Finance and Economic planning under Head of Treasury and Accounting (HOTA) performed accounting and finance duties (such as invoicing, writing and recording cheques, preparing of the cashbooks and bank reconciliations and printing and creating payment vouchers) and office tasks such as (typing, printing, photocopying and stamping official documents receiving incoming documents).
