Leah is a senior project manager for SCS Engineers. Her responsibilities include project management, field site management, geologic mapping, data collection for geologic, hydrogeologic, and environmental studies, geologic research, and preparation of geologic, monitoring, and risk assessment reports. She is experienced in subsurface soil and groundwater contamination investigations, groundwater monitoring well installations and abandonment, and evaluation of environmental impact for risk-based corrective action (RBCA) analysis of LUST sites in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.Leah has also performed countless Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) on commercial, industrial, and vacant properties for for lenders, developers, municipalities, and state agencies. This experience includes servicing clients for statewide Brownfields assessment programs and municipal United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Assessment Grant contracts. Additionally, Leah has experience with groundwater statistics, GIS mapping, NEPA Screening, as well as asbestos, lead-based paint, and radon sampling.Certifications/Memberships include: State of Colorado, Division of Oil and Public Safety, Recognized Environmental Professional (REP); Kansas Risk-Based Corrective Action Certification; Rocky Mountain Association of Environmental Professionals; Society of Women Environmental Professionals.
