I have been working in the retail sector for the past 5 years in Tesco and prior to this I was working in hospitality for 3 years. Working for Tesco as a Customer Assistant have given me skills that I use to effectively do my job better and also make my personal life easier. Dealing with customer queries as well as complaints challenge me daily and provide me with the ability to think quickly and strategically in order to come up with solutions for their problems. As well as being a Customer Assistant, I am Tesco Community Champion for my store. This means that I liaise with different local charities and organisations that get selected every 12 weeks to take part in our fundraising scheme.I am an extremely good listener and communicator and have excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills.I am a very dedicated worker and passionate learner. Having studied in Dublin City University for the past three years earning my degree in both English and a history, this has only fuelled my love for learning.
