I joined Business in the Community Ireland in 2011 following completion of an MSc Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility from Queen’s University, Belfast. I am a graduate of Trinity College Dublin with a BA (Hons) Degree in Business and Economics. Currently, I am part of the Membership Services Team in Business in the Community Ireland, the Network for Responsible Business. Business in the Community Ireland is a not for profit business network dedicated to Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility. I support large indigenous, semi-state and multinational companies to measure, manage and report on their corporate responsibility and sustainable business practices and performance. I have experience in designing corporate community involvement programmes to support companies’ corporate responsibility and sustainability strategies. I have developed strategic community partnerships between charities and businesses including employee supported volunteering initiatives. I have mentored community groups and charities to build their capacity to engage with business to address social and environmental issues. My areas of expertise and experience are: corporate social responsibility and sustainability strategy development and advice, community development, capacity building, project management, relationship management, event management, business development, marketing and communications.
