Special assignment with the foundation on a contract position. During this time, I assisted with several key projects involving foundation communications and special events. Some of this work involved coordinating a strategic plan for philanthropic engagement on an extended 10 day visit. Heavy research profiling for donors of high net worth was conducted over the course of this assignment in preparation for the visit.

Developed, edited and maintained all agency print and digital collateral for one of New York City’s oldest settlement houses. Managed all forward-facing and internal written content including annual newsletters, brochures and fundraising collateral. Oversaw all monthly newsletters and donor features and managed social media content. Crafted stories that mirrored the brand and voice of an organization providing education as a key to economic and civic opportunity.Managed a portfolio of city and state contracts (including new grant proposals) for the agency serving 10,000 youth and families living in the South Bronx. Served as liaison between executive team and agency program directors at 10 New York City partner schools. Planned and coordinated agency’s annual TCS New York City Marathon team fundraiser. Worked to build strong relationships between participants to elevate their philanthropic engagement within the organization. Coordinated in-kind gifts and third-party fundraisers to benefit the organization's work across 29 schools and community center sites.

Grant writing for programs that provide girls in underserved communities with the Girl Scout experience. Outreach to foundations and the business community to expand the Girl Scout mission in the 7 county lower Hudson Valley Region.

Served as the organization's first-ever Program Coordinator providing peer support to teens and young adults in Rochester as the organization expanded from its online support base to weekly activities at its first brick and mortar community center/ headquarters. I worked closely with hospital staff at Strong Memorial/Golisano Children's Hospital to introduce newly diagnosed adolescent patients to supportive activities and connection through our organization. This support followed the continuum of care to survivorship.
