Hi 👋🏼 I am a forward-thinking human resource (HR) leader, social science researcher and consultant with a passion for leadership, talent management and the employee experience. I have 15+ years of experience conducting research and leveraging evidence-based best practices to address organizational needs. In my current role as Associate Director at the Conference Board of Canada, I spearhead funded research initiatives focused on workplace mental health, while also driving business development and operational goals to achieve annual revenue and stakeholder impact targets. As a thought leader in workplace health and inclusion, I disseminate research findings through various channels while overseeing the development of a high-performing team.In my previous role at Shopify, I applied my subject-matter expertise in organizational psychology to help build and deliver innovative HR solutions aimed at improving employee experience and organizational efficiency. In this role I had the opportunity to work in both the Talent and Data disciplines transforming people data into actionable insights and really digging into the WHY behind organizational trends. 📊 🤔 Complementing this internal HR experience, I have honed my leadership, project management and stakeholder engagement skills in my previous role as a management consultant. In this role I led interdisciplinary teams through projects varying in size, scope and complexity (while also working with team members in different regions and timezones). I've also gained valuable experience in each of the public sector, non-profit and private sector work environments and have developed an excellent awareness and understanding of the needs of these client groups. Over the past 6 years I have also been involved with a women-run e-commerce start-up focused on disrupting the period product industry. This experience has expanded my knowledge in new areas like marketing and website design and has improved my ability to pivot with ease and think strategically. My specialties include: Workplace Stress and Health, Organizational Culture, Leadership, Change Management, Employee Experience and Engagement, Performance Management, Performance Measurement, Program Evaluation, HR Strategy.
