I have worked in the marketing industry since November of 2023 with Safe Sedation Training. While in this position I have made social media content, created informational content in the form of brochures and mailing cards, gathered data on potential customers, and have connected with customers through email. I also have some experience in sales for Majestuoso and know how to pitch to and hook the customer, inform them about products and services, and close a sale. I have also worked in the food industry, which includes jobs at Smashburger, Cubbys, In N Out, and Tandoori Oven. While working at each of these jobs, one of the most important skills I've learned is that of interpersonal communication. Whether it's communicating with managers, customers, or other employees, the way one goes about communicating is crucial to building strong relationships and ultimately being successful. I have been able to build lasting friendships and positive employee relations with coworkers and managers because of the way I communicate with them. It is my belief that it's important to try and make work an enjoyable environment fostered by trust; only then will people put forth more effort and make sacrifices for their team. I am an extraverted person, and in all my jobs I have brought high energy and positivity to the workplace. This has made working more enjoyable and motivating for me, as I believe it has for my coworkers. I have experience in customer service from my time at Tandoori Oven and In N Out, and through this I have been able to learn how to handle conflicts and keep the customer happy. Aside from my work experience, I have skills in business that I've learned through taking classes at Utah State University. I am expected to graduate in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in some field of business. From the classes I have taken so far, I've gained skills in marketing, accounting, finance, data, business management, communications, and leadership. I plan to further these skills while attending USU. I also took Spanish for six years previous to the start of college, so my Spanish skills are at an intermediate level.
